My car has a set. :blinx:

1 lug nut will not bolt on back, is damaged (don't know why) I'm thinking of buying a set, the price is 120 $ shipped from the USA :nono:

Anyone has any experience with this lug nuts? Do I have a better option for the price? :p

I have the same ones on my car, and twice have the nuts come loose in such a way that the car/wheel made a horrible sound. And they were tightened properly.

So when I go to the track next year, you can bet on me using good'ol steel nuts

They look cool, tho *Roll eyes*

I have a set of these on my car aswell m8... Not found any problems with them yet.. Very light and look awsome !! My ones are black with RAYS stamped onto the face of them.. :nice:

Cheers - Andy

I got a set in black with my new wheels. Never had a problem with them coming loose. However, the red ones don't stay red forever, the color fades. Being closed, they can't be used with extended lugs. Otherwise, I love these lugs they have a locking feature to help with wheel theft, and they look good.

RVM if you want an extra black lug to replace the loose one, send me a PM.

I've got a set of Long type anodized. Very light compared to normal nuts at a costly price. The weight difference is more than half.

aluminum lug nuts are considered wear and tear items by most race teams, they are not as hard as steel lugnuts IIRC and thats why they tend to get stripped/damaged faster, especially if you take your car to the track, it gets hot, then you change your wheels which puts more stress on the stud/nut since the aluminum nut and the steel stud expand and contract at different rates, etc. etc. etc... this is not the first time ive seen aluminum lug nuts get messed up, but if you want a cheap place to get them from then here you go:

was just reading this, the people who have posted above saying that the wheel has come loose with aftermarket wheel nuts, were these ran on stock wheels? if so that is the probelm!

most aftermarket nuts have a taper head and are not compatible with the acorn type head which stock wheels take

the only aftermarket nuts i have seen that would fit stock wheels safely are spoon ones in gunmetal colour as they have an acorn head (red/blue spoon wheel nuts have the taper head to fit their sw388 wheels)

WOW that is cheap!

I bought those, and I'm really impressed with the quality, they are even lighter than rays lug nuts  hope they don't get loose at the track :nono:
