"vsm ek4" build up thread

right guys so I brought myself a vsm ek4 around a week ago now :) It has 98'000 on the clock with full service history, all previous mots's the lot! Plus a hell of a lot of it is honda service history EVEN BETTER!!

I have huge plans for this car but they will all become apparent in the near future. So to get this build thread up and going i have some pics of it for you and how she is sitting now.

Comment, oppinions and criticism welcome all can be taken in a good way aye :)

Got a few things happening already with the car tho I have ordered myself some nice bits all ready for its full respray in 4 days time :) sat here waiting I have pre-facelift ek9 front bumper, ek9 grill, ek9 front lip, ek9 rear lip, ek9 rear bumper, new ek9 sideskirts and ek9 spoiler with base plate, cant wait to get it all on there and sprayed up will take some pics of the bits tomorrow so you can all have a look and will hopefully be able to keep you updated through out the respray. Oh and bump strips on the dorrs will be getting colour coded at the same time as all the rest.

sounds like your off on the right foot! the car will look sweet with the lips on and painted. but the side skirts are the same on all civic models, hope they didn't cost too much! get it lowered a bit and it'll be mint!

yeh lowering and wheels are the next steps man :)

with the skirts they are just a lottle different from standard honda ones they bring it a little lower and the curves are a little more defined but people dont think by this that that im cheesing it up with some big gay boddy kit sideskirts im sure the pics will explain tomorrow :)
 
cool, i'll wait and see never really seen any skirts apart from oem ones!

edit: get a hairdryer to those rear badges, imo it looks so much better without them!

them badges are coming the hell off when she gets sprayed dont worry i hate them to lol

Right guys so a few things have happened over the last few days! i have dropped the car off for spray with all the bumpers and other parts.

I have also just ordered some 15x7 et35 buddy club p1's with 4x toyo t1r's and some gp sports coilovers from japan which should all be here within the next 3 weeks hopefully :) ready for when I get it back from the spray shop!!

I have also ordered some team heko wind deflectors and i am going to be placing an order for a mugen twinloop full system with manifold and de-cat pipe, gunna get some heat wrap for when that turns up also, and gunna wrap the manifold. also placing an order today for a mugen intake :) so should all be good times!!

Looking at this shopping list, you've either: sold the s13......or your gonna be working ALOT over the holidays lol.

Might have to pop over clints and have a look at how shes getting on soon and take some snaps for here?

Dude Yeh the s13 sold man so been shopping away but also planning on working lots to lol

When and if you go to clints can you let me know cause I wanna come see how my baby is coming along lol

Right guys so the wheels are on there way from buddy club after a few set backs. Couldnt get the 15x7 et35 in the end as they are outa stock :( so ordered some 15x6.5 et42's in white and gunna chuck some 5mm spacers all round with maybe another 3mm one on the rear possibly will get pics up asap :) getting her back from spray on sunday :D :drive:
 
I got the car back from the spray shop after being delayed by 2 weeks! and it looks amazing imo pictures will be up tomorrow :)

So updates for the car recently are:

full spray
gp motorsport coilovers
buddy club p1 15'' wheels
heko wind deflectors
import number plates
d1 spec wheel bolts

will get all the pics up of it tomorrow :) hope you will all like it.
 
im so happy with how it has turned as soon as i get my phone i will get the pics of it up for you guys! :)
