Seat is now mounted around 12" further back and more inboard than the original location. We've ended up using a floor mounted tilton pedal box, as well as making a new steering column. We'll need to relocate the shifter and have some longer cables made next.

That's going to really help with weight distribution and make a very cool looking cockpit!!


I have moved my seat back until the wing nearly hits the main roll cage hoop, I then extended my steering wheel out about 6 inches... its lucky my legs are long enough as they reach the pedals comfortably without having to move them

Bit more progress.



Old inlet no longer fits with the new cooling pack, nor would anything else I could see on the market, so here's the first part towards its replacement:






Then on to a job I've been putting off for a while - major surgery to the front inner wings to clear the tyres. Realistically we could have lived with just the extra clearance around the top, but ended up cutting into the firewall to allow for some more steering lock. We've now got full use of the steering rack again which should make life easier in the pits etc.
