Hi there!

I've just joined the forum :)

Just bought a '98 160 civic vtec, but the previous owner removed a lot of sensors and I don't know what else. The Vtec oil pressure switch is also missing, so my vtec doesn't engage. If I do the Vtec oil pressure switch bypass, will that solve my problem, or would I have to fit a switch?

Please help :((

If your pressure switch is missing it may not have been removed just may not of been there to start with. If you do the bypass that will solve that CEL. but if your getting others they may cause your vtec not to work. Best thing is to read all your codes and see what sensors are faulty.

Thanks for your advice!
I'll take it in on Monday to have it checked out.

Is this the bypass needed when fitting a B16B/B18C into an EK4?
