PWM boost control(ecu controlled)
Mishimoto radiator

Ran into plenty of problems along the way mainly with the turbo kit. First turbo I got had bits blown out of the turbine that held me up for another month waiting on replacement turbo. Then I had a boost creep issue so I had to port the wastegate and widen the DP as much as possible which done the trick for the most part, still getting slight boost creep in 5th. The engine is bit of a oil burner and I suspect worn valve guides and or stem seals been the culprit. Head is coming off in next few weeks to fit some ARP headstuds as its lifting at 1bar!! so i'll further investigate the problem then.

Just some pics I took last week when I clay barred my EK9 and applied some dodo juice supernatural wax. Yet to finish drivers side so that's all the pics for now!

Calvin was doing my head in waiting to get licenses etc so I just pulled plug and became a dealer with Neptune. I hear there is some guys trying to take over the running off Calvin, I hope it does happen for eCtune's sake.

Yeah was looking like one problem after another there for awhile but finally getting them sorted. Videos soon. We demand videos of your 9 also:naughty:

EK9 turbo... nice!

A few reasons, stock b16b isn't all that well suited for boost with its high dome pistons and for the price I got for my b16b I had plenty change left over after buying the b16a. I plan to eventually build a forged bottom end and it will be alot easier to get forged rods for a b16a whereas forged rods for b16b would need to be custom made.

Thanks. As for the numbers i'll see what it makes when I push it on the dyno lets hope it doesn't break:nerv:

well done mate ! nice 9 !
Cheers mate:nice:

That's Ace!! Lot of good work done there mate!

Pardon my ignorance, but why go from a B16b to a B16a?

Ectune customer service is terrible ! it must be the worst in the world lol. Fair play to you anyway mate. Neptune is still good solid software. I just don't like the layout to it and Hondata. Maybe its just because i'm so use to Ectune....
