What fuel do you run your EK9 on?

I thought i would run a wee poll to see what everyone is using.

Do you run it on supermarket fuel? or like me only use super unleaded (v-power in my case)

tesco 99 octane, its the shizzle. plus you get clubcard points!

however if i'm too far from a tesco, any other super unleaded for me.

i have always been told that japanese fuel, that these will have been previous run on, has a higher octane level than ours so with V-Power being the best we can buy, that's what i fill her up with

Yeh no V-power in ireland, don't even think there are any Shells left? Use maxol e5, advertised 99 octane but closer to 97. Still better than normal 95!

would it be better than the V-power in UK?!

B16A2 in an EJ6. Shell V-Power 93-Octane. Octane ratings in the US are different than pretty much the rest of the world. Our 93 is probably equivalent to what ever your Premium or Super gas is. Actually there's two. 91 and 93. 93 is what's most common here though.

*Just looked it up to be sure and yes, our 93 (AKI) is equivalent to ya'lls 98-99 (RON).
