What have you beaten in your ek9?

I know ek9s are not straightline performance cars, but what have you guys beaten in your ek9s on the street and 1/4 mile etc? Also for the cars which have beaten you, how did you do against them i.e., how many car lengths did they dust you by?
 
ive beaten

06 corvette z06
350z with nitrous
srt4
civic with a built h22
etc etc etc

all were even starts no lengths. this is with the turbo.

I was out testing my new flywheel :nice: last week when i came across an EVO IV, got up to the light's next to him and he was complementing now how well my 9 sound's! :D
Away from the light's over about 1/4 mile, i gaind about a car length :clap:
Then from about 50 - 110mph he gaind about a car length!
Then for the best bit, down a twisty duel carrageway spilt up by a few roundabout's! By the time i stoped at some light's he was about 10 car length's behind!:bow::bow::bow:

HOW I LOVE MY EK9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Cool kills guys. I take back what I said, about ek9 not being much of a straightline cars lol. I would never have thought they would have been able to keep up and smoke scoobies, evos etc. Good going:nice:
 
Right bare with me here, i don't own an EK9 but some off the cars you say you are smoking are pretty immpressive. Maybe you should list your mod's aswell as what car's you have beat.

Well i dont have an EK9 - its an EK4 but i'd like to tell you all my wins and losses!

Wins:
Focus ST (2.4ltr Turbo)
Focus ST170 (laughable)
Fiesta ST (laughable)
Saxo VTS & 106 GTi's (loads and very laughable)
206 GTi 180HP Model (2 different ones)
An old UK spec Scooby Turbo
Vauxhall VX220 (dont know how i done this, dont think the guy could drive it but he did seem to be trying)
Seat Leon Cupra R 225 hp
Loads of BMW's - most impressive would be 325
1987 Honda Supermagna 700cc (my dads bike lol)

Astra VXR (thought it would have destroyed me)

not a great fan of straight line performances, but i thought i'd share my encounters :) to let people who would like to buy ek9's their performance.
win and kept up(*) with:
Ek4s standard or modded (too the extent of no mapping and tuning etc)

Standard ITR (uk)(*)
BMW325
Focus ST(*)
Golfs
Astra vxr (very close though)(*)
....
the obvious ones are the MGs, vts, 106,206, etc......

i did have a very close run with a volvo though o_O t5... suprising quick (top end speed)
 
only had the car 3 weeks an its alsome. Beat everything i'v found apart from a porsch boxter.
 
why are impreza wrx called scooby???

not much of a spec list there mate...........either toyr mates cars are not the hp they say or they cant drive them properly,that spec isnt much man(I,H,E)are BASIC upgrades....as for the vtec controller.......no comment,lol
 
Have to agree, my other car (clio turbo) is only 230bhp, it weighs 960kgs and it absolutely spanks my EK9 (standard), a couple of seconds into any kind of race on an empty stretch of road, the Honda becomes a little white spec in the rearview.
 
Got somebody coming to look at it this weekend, if not who knows eh :D
