So I cleaned up IACV yesterday, straight forward enough after found it!

I put a cloth down to catch any coolant drips but accidently pulled 2 pipes off which lead to this :

There are 2 pipes coming out, a thinner one on top which (I think) leads to the back of the inlet manifold - made sense as there was a metal pipe sticking out with nothing attached to it and the pipe looks to be the right diameter

The thicker pipe underneath however, I can't see anywhere it would have come off from. It's about half the length of the thinner pipe but nowhere to plug it in. It might be that it's always been loose as there is also an electrical connector plug just sat there (I have an aftermarket neptune ecu), but not sure if someone could check on there care to see where it goes?

Looks like the charcoal canister to me. Recycles the fuel vapors from the tank and lets them be stored and used through the engine.

Should have a intake vacume pipe a pipe to the fuel tank and cant remember were the othere one goes but shouldn't be to far away.
 
yup, charcoal canister not sure where the other pipe goes though.
 
Ok. Pics dont seem to work but if u google ek9 throttle body and look in images, compare an oem one to the skunk2 one you have and you will see which union i mean. Hope this helps
