SPOON socks
Unknown back box
De-cat

good Header toda, mugen, spoon+ aftermarket ecu :)

if you get the spoon header make sure to get the TYPE ONE, i dont like the regular spoon header after recently learning the bottom half is mild steel:angry: if your not familiar with mild steel the problem is it will eventually rust and become garbage. for the price it should be stainless like toda/mugen :nice:

i agree with rvm on the computer upgrade too :nice: its an important mod.

I would sugest a new coil. The factory one in the dizzy gets warm and does not always produce the correct amount of spark. If you get an after market MSD one that goes on the fire wall it will give you a much brighter spark. Which will help out with combustion

all headers are good and better than stock. They just vary in where the power is made.. Yes J's Racing is good

No, there are some very shitty headers out there. Better than stock? There are a few that suck compared to a stock ek9 header, and there are a lot that suck compared to the ITR stainless steel header.
Some things about crappy headers- paint flakes off, bad clearance, cracks in the flange, flange not fitting well to head ports!, outlet doesent line up to mid cat/decat. Those are a few things to look for/problems with crap headers.

the only ebay one i would buy is the type-r copy 4-1, i think its about $150

if you have got lot of moneys for your headers you can choose RMF, vibrant!!!!

yea i really like the vibrant 4-2-1 long tube header, its not that expensive, is around $500 while rmf is closer to $1,000. rvm whey dont you get the vibrant longtube header?

i would go for a good quality header like the spoon 1 piece 4-2-1 stainless one and then also get the car tuned

my friend said that the best mod he had done to his old ek9 was have it unichipped/tuned, really made the car more driveable through the whole rev range and made the most of the modifications to the car!
His integra that he had not long ago had a spoon ecu and he said that he noticed similar performance with it, so either or really :)

thre is a guy on ebay who sells the vibrant header for about 520 shipped, and he is a vibrant authorized dealer. and sorry when i said spoon type one, i was mistaked the type one i was referring to was the T1R header made by t1r aka ajracing.com, its very similar to the vibrant piece:

see this thread for more info:

no i was reffering to the spoon header....

spoon make 2 headers for the ek9, 1 ofwhich is the 1 piece stainless steel 4-2-1 and the other is a 2 piece header which looks like it is a mild steel one :)

oh, i know what you mean, when ever i see pics of the 1 piece it looks like a 4-1, have you seen one in person to confirm it is actually a 421?

if you look closely at the pics of it and also in the spoon description of it, it is indeed a 4-2-1 :nice:
