i brought a facelift type-r grill for my pre-facelift LOL
luckily the guy let me swap it
Epic Fail

My worst has to be the Blueflame system....though it was "recommended"

Never liked the noise it made, nor size of the tailpipe. It just looked too big for the back of the car IMO..:nono:

My Spoon Street is fantastic in comparison (though the baffles are now going in the backbox:(()

All a case of personal taste i guess, but i made a right booboo there. Hated it from the moment i first started the car:angry2:

Whats wrong with buying speakers. i just brought some replacements because i thought my speakers sounded like balls.
i only spent about 200-300 max and it sounds top notch with my mates tuning

lexus lights on my old pug 106! what the hell was I thinking, in matter of fact everything I done to that car I totally regret!!!!!!!!!!!!! You learn the hard way tho eh! :)

Castrol Dot 5 fluid brake fluid. Not for our cars.
And Redline MTL transmission fluid was terrible for the weeks I kept it.

A blitz nur spec exhurst for my subaru looked good but made your ears bleed it was that loud!!! Waste of 600 quid only kept it on the car for a week. We live and learn

Cometic metal head gasket, what a piece of ****. Lasted about 2 weeks before it flaked to pieces and the multi layers seperated badly.

OE FTW.

On my current car (EG5) placing back the cat in the hope of reducing my exhaust sound...but I discovered my car was almost a second slower on 0-60 time.

Whats wrong with a good sound system in your car? I have set a challenge for myself: full blown sound quality system including 10" of 12" subwoofer and doors dampened and airtight for under 20kg ;) I don't see what's wrong with a nice sound system to enjoy house music while cruising on the German autobahn with the sun shining on your car :drive::nice:

I know, there's loads of people that use them with no trouble...but for some reason mine just didn't wan't to play.

I think the answer is 'What's wrong with the standard stuff? Goes plenty loud enough if you like loud music and the quality is fine...the speakers are Japanese engineering not 80's Ford's:D
