Looking for build outlines on a mint b16b with 16,000 miles. I intend to keep NA and do a full wire tuck. So really what do you guys feel is the best combination of aftermarket parts? Not intending to set any land speed records or anything like that. Also open to ITB set ups. The car is a ek9 ctr be specific ie motor mounts : hasport "street" ect... Thanks in advance all the way from USA! Input please even if its just one part. Looking for quality and respectable brand so NO junk ie password jdm intake ect

Whats your budget?

A flux capacitor, a nuclear powered hyper exhaust, and a rocket engine bolted to the roof.... o yeah, and a big vibrator as the hand break...

Don't you dare to touch original B16B with 16000 miles on it......

Leave it standard and blow $15k on doing a trackday tour.

Leave it standard 16k wow v rare.. buy another b series engine and built that.

I personally wouldn't touch a B16b with 16k. Leave it alone.

do not touch a b16b with only 16k on it! change the ancillaries yea, but dont open it up and loose the bulletproof reliability.

quality bolt ons and keep the engine internally stock..

quick remap to make the most oft he new parts

done.

Your B16b is 16000 miles away from perfect. Which is much closer than most others. Leave it as it is and spend the money elsewhere.

IMO it would be very stupid to even want to do a rebuild. you will go a very very long way to find another b16b with 16000 if it was me id find another b series that actually needs a rebuild and spend your money on that

Why would it be stupid ? My original post was stupid (it was totally irrelevant). But opening the engine up to change it's internals is no big deal. People do this **** all day long with brand spanking new engines - let alone engines with miles on it. OP - Just rip it open and build it. Contact Endyn and see what they say. You're going to have to go with a lot of custom parts if you want the ULTIMATE B16B.

P.S. Make sure you keep the bottom end geometry the same. Don't mess about with different length rods or pistons with a higher offset wrist pin (if you do it won't be a B16B anymore).

Agree a few years back looked into a jun stroke kit but later found out that you can do a poor mans b18 and have similar results. But would like to stay within the realm of the 16b. Even with all the post still have not seen a build outline. Regardless of hitting internals or not. So ill give a go and please provide input the combinations may not match up perfectly but thats why i figured I put it out there. Battery relocation, Wire tuck MIL spec rhywire, Radiator tuck "full race", Header "TODA". exhaust "Mugen twin loop", fuel rail "golden eagle" Intake "arc short ram and box" ect.... Love the comments but no cash for flux capassitor
