What you don't like about your ek9?

Agreed!

As standard though i love them! But again, final drive, vtec point and ride height lets the car down. Hondas build quality is not good though (in general) rattly/noisy interior and poor allignment lines (bumpers side skirts) :blabla:

B18C EK9 on the road VERY good! On track still not enough! :angry:

I'm the same mate, and im on standard suspension and standard rims and a very quiet Mugen twinloop and i still find it to loud and stiff sometimes haha. I think its my poly engine mount inserts which are killing me :angry:
 
ek9's aint all that ma b16a2 kills them all day evryday with p30 ecu n ek4 gearbox:D
 
I hate that the air doesn't seem to circulate or something, as such the side windows steam up pretty easily.

Does this happen to anyone else, and if so how have you stopped it?

The outside always seems to have beaded water which doesn't seem keen to go away if you put the windows down and back up :D as well which kills visibility but I thought some rainx may help this?
 
if you sit with wet clothes in your car the window will get foged faster
 
Passengers always manage to get their seatbelt twisted, and then when they get out it doesnt fully go back in so rattles around when i drive. I'm sure this isnt ek9 specific but bugs the hell out of me having to reach over all the time!

Have you your side blowers on the dash blowing across onto the side windows..I have mine set that way and when someone moves it I notice it fogs up very quick

Yea but it seems to still be pretty foggy.

I went out and got some rainx today which had anti-fog wipes for the interior so I've done the mirrors and the outside of the windows with the rainx and the insides with the wipes. Should hopefully stop the fog!
 
i hate the way everyone wants to steal them where im located. cant have nothing nice


plus all the rattles

that also wrecks my head!! starts rattling as soon as you take off! and sticky windows of course!!

I try and avoid parking in dodgy areas just in case! Woul dprobably help if it wasn't white :lol:

As for the sticky windows, own brand silicone lubricant from halfords all round the seals, wipe excess of and job done. Work perfect now.
