Where are these recaros from?

so my friend is building an ek9 replica.

and he got some super sick seats. i have never seen them before. they are red, and have a stitching that says "30 johny recaro in japan"

he swears they are from a super-out-of-this-world-extremely-limited type-rx ek9. but i dont think they are, they do look like the srd's though... so....did these come out of a honda at all?

they are just recaro speed recliners

Actually it's says "30 Jahre Recaro in Japan" which is German for 30 years in Japan.

Looks like they'll be out of Germany going by the writing. No dange they're anything ultra rare from an EK9.

yup, they are definately recaros.
just odd that it has japan on them, so i thought for a minute that they actually did come off a honda...but guess not.

I'm pretty sure recaro is a German company =/
However they did branch out to Japan.
And I'm theres other uber rare anniversary edition seats.

If they came out of a Jap import then some Jap guy would have just purchased them from a Autobaks retail store.

They are origional recaro but came from a german background .

recaro is a german company. this is an anniversary addition seat. 30 years of recaro in japan. quite rare as ive only seen 1. lucky mate to have 2.
