Just tallying everything up for my B18 build at the moment and theres a few big parts i need for the engine block that im using, and was wondering are these parts available direct from the internet or will they most likely have to be bought second hand? Any help what so ever will be majorly appreciated:nice:
Parts include:

B18 Sump
B18 Throttle body (or is a B16 one ok?)
B18 head gasket

Also ive been told that its also better to use EK9(B16B) pistons in the B18C block to raise compression.... is there any truth in this or a B18C pistons the best way?:secret:
Is there anywhere that stocks B series pistons and rods, do honda even do them?

Again any help will be really appreciated:)

I also have a B16B exhaust manifold off my last engine, is this ok to use until i can afford an uprated manifold for it or will i need one designed for the B18C straight away?

NI = Northern Ireland?

It is true the 16B pistons in an 18C will raise the compression, but if you do not know what you're doing, you're knocking on nearly 13:1 compression. It is best to stick with the JDM ITR piston and a 2pce headgasket which would effectively give you 11:3-11:5 (depending if you mill the head)

You can buy a used sump provided it is in good condition as well as a throttle body, which you should really get an ITR spec one.

Don't bother with used gaskets EVER. If your location is indeed Northern Ireland then you may have a tough time finding these parts at reasonable prices...but check with them first. You may just have to order everything from the states or elsewhere with stock.

Thanks dude think il stick with the b18 pistons then.

Anyone else know if I can still use the b16 mani in the mean time or not?

Yeah mate you can use that manifold as its the same as the 96 spec itr manifold
