Hey there guys.

I tried searching but couldnt find the answer.
im in need of a manifold for my stock ek9 b16b, however im not sure which one to go for.

I've read that b18 manifolds are the best choice, specifically the 98-spec b18 manifolds, however, a friend of mine will very soon have a spoon manifold for sale from his b16a uk civic vti (1999), so will this one fit if i was to buy it off him? what spec decat would i require, would an adjustable one do?

cheers :)

Depends on whether the manifold is designed for a JDM B16 or a UK B16 I guess.

If it's for a UK spec car the manifold diameter (collector) will be 2.25", and not 2.5"

As tim said the collector on the Uk spec is 2.25". If your car isnt really low to the ground go for the JDM 98spec ITR manifold. It will fit no problem.

ok, so will the b16a one actually fit without problems? i.e it'll be a performance increase over stock.

it is actually pretty low, but i can easily raise it up if needs be. i can't see there's being a massive difference in the collector sizes in regards to power, or is this just a case of how low the collector hangs?

No, the B16A manifold (whether stock or Spoon) will not fit your B16B as your block is 7mm taller than the B16A block.
