Which tuning option?


How much roughly would you look at for a 'walk in walk out' b18 conversion do you know? Something iv always thought id do in the future.
 
Well that depends on a lot of things, but I have one priced up of about £650. Which involves a part swap with my existing B16B, and then a <90K B18 with new cambelt, tensioner and fresh oil etc.

Pretty good value for money I'd say! :naughty:
 
Why do you say option 1? any particular reasons?

I have to say Im leaning towards a B18 swap guys :nerv:

Have you thought of upgrading the clutch or flywheel? should help a bit, plus if you go for the b18 in the future you could transfer them onto it?
i want a b18, may go for it this winter if my wallet allows :)
 
I understand what your saying, as I was considering getting exhaust and other bolt ons and then transfering them over at a later date. But I would want to get an exhaust and S300 plus remap. Which means if I added the B18 at a later date I would have to have a second mapping session. They aint cheap! :nerv:

I could go for a few different mods to see how it goes but my clutch has LOADS of life left in it so there is no point in spending money on clutch and flywheel atm. Gains from other stuff is quite minimal. :((

Fact is I have the money to do one or the other, and want opinions of each. So thanks for your input. Its all helping me to decide! :nice:
