whos out in the snow?


Wouldn't say I was having fun, trying my best not to get stuck which I did the other day

Was fully loaded at 44ton and came to a slight hill, would not go up it. Luckily this farmer came round the corner in his tractor, perfect timing lol!
Still took me an hour and half to travel 2 miles

most of our jobs have have been cancelled as alot of the industrial estates havnt been cleared of snow yet.

but we did manage to get an aircraft de-icer from Brize Norton to Leuchars on one of the low loaders.

As you can see not much has moved in our yard, although 70% of the fleet is unservicable lol

I'm sure ep3's are great in the snow with their relatively torqueless engine... The problem lies with trying to run the car on wide summer tyres
 
I would drive in the snow but my ek4 hasn't moved since thursday been getting around in a hilux on some proper chunky tyres lol :p

Ahh but there's nothing funner then going up roads, That 4x4 drivers say you can't get up. :drive:
