Will this size wheels and tyres fit an ek9??

my mate is offerin me some wheels and tyres for free so just wanted to know if they would fit?

5x114

16"x6.5j et 55 with 205/50/16 tyres.

16"x7.5j et 65 wtih 225/50/16 tyres.

stock offset is 45 isn't it? they may sit in a bit if i'm thinking about the larger offset correctly? not sure if the wider ones will have trouble with the inner arch (assuming you would run those on the rear?). best way is try them on for size :) and if theyre free... have them anyway and sell them! but i didn't say that :D
 
haha what do you mean by sit in abit? in what why like?

yes timit i would probs use those on the rear.

thanks for that dunsy but i dont quite get it :s

it says for the 6.5j et55 it says inner clearance 10mm less and outer position retract by 10mm

and for the 7.5j et65 it says inner clearance 33mm less and outer position rtract by 7mm

can someone explain a little more on this for me please

both of those wheels will sit closer to the center of the car than stock ones(10mm and 33mm). hence they might touch the arches/not fit at all due to them being too close to the car
 
also, make sure they aint hitting your suspension
