Item for sale: y1 cusco 2way lsd box

Price: £500 collected as it will cost you double the price for one of these to build

Paypal: yes, buyer to pay fee's

Location: halifax

Condition: gearbox is in good working order, no crunches, winning or anything, reason for sale is the lsd is too harsh for me i cant do with the clunking and banging lol

Description: removed from my b20 ef9 sir, pretty clean condition will get pics of the box later on wen i get it out of the garage, pics of the lsd provided

would be willing to offer £150 + postage for the diff if you want to split the box
 
Ohh dear....doesn't sound very promising....how much are you after for the 1.5 box?
 
Hi Mate, Based on the info provided for the 1.5 way box.....there seems to be a lot of unknown's......no history.....condition not known...
If you are genuinely interested in selling this, then I'm very reluctant in offering £300 Cash monies. Let me know what you think?

I've meet this guy who is selling the box and can vouch for him being a very honest person and I'm sure he can offer some sort of warranty.

no chance mate as i know there is nothing wrong with it, i'm not really fussed if it sells or not as its cost me more then its up for sale

I understand and im sure you're a genuine and honest guy but you have said that its been in the garage a long time thus im slightly concerned about its condition. I am interested in the kaaz 1.5 way box but concerned it has no prior history.

few questions reg the kaaz box...

When was the last time you used it?
Does this box crunch or whine at high rpm?
Do you know roughly what kind of mileage the LSD has seen?
Any idea how old the LSD is?
What kind of transmission fluid have you used?
How Long has it been stored in the garage?

i'm using the 1.5 lasd box now mate its in my ef9 sir, come check it out if you want, cant get any honest then that
 
Is this box based in Halifax? If so its about a 4hr drive for me from bath. So it is a long way for me to travel.

Please can you do this before I commit to come and have a look as it will be more efficient.....To tell if you have a clutch type or helical LSD, you can put the car in neutral and lift one front tire. Try to turn the tire, a helical will allow you to turn the tire as long as the tranmission is in neutral. A Kaaz or other clutch type LSD will either not turn or give a good amount of resistance. Please let me know what you find?
