how do you find the fixed bucket for daily use ? I want another bucket but the last bride one I had was a bit small and was really just back breaking for the amount I drive the car .

Fixed buckets not too bad pope, but i do use my ibiza quite alot these days.

its the noise that annoys me the most.

give me a shout if ur wanting a hand. i'm off for the next two weeks doing my own. so i think i should hopefully be pretty well practiced by then lol any chance i could have a passenger door off you? mine is faaaaar too battered to even contemplate re using it.

heavy waxoyl session on the cards for me tomorrow.. then some fresh underseal and start attacking the engine bay which is pretty heavily stained
 
Good choice with buying the ek9 shell! Now your problems with rusting arches are solved assuming the ek9 shell is rust free??

It will be a good project with that base to build from the ground up, I'll look forward to seeing the progress mate
 
Yeh ek9 shell solves the following issues aha

no rust
no sunroof
no sound deadning
painted interior

plus its cool to be able to tell burds i have a type R rathr than a jordan hahahhah
