dual valve spring & Retainers from CTR should serve the purpose

sound like a good build with to me, estimating 220-230 whp with 160-170 lbs/ft of torque i suppose with a good tune :drive:

from my experience, b16a2 engine with ctr cams,pct pistons,ITR intake & TB + header + cai + 2.3" tubing, piggyback = 170++ whp with 97 octane fuel

pordon me blinx for forgetting to put the question, can i just fit in the s4c EK4 non lsd with this oem 4.785 fd without installing the lsd. cheers!!

my 1.6vti (EK4) is non lsd s4c tranny :(( and planning to fit the ITR 4.785 fd in it. some says, i do need at least an oem lsd to fit the fd in, and some says, it should be fine to just plug n play.all the items, 1st gear, collar, counter shaft, ring gear and 2 bearings are all complete. hope...

yeah, on b16a2 vti, its from pre-98 ITR

i believe it can be used. I am using ITR driveshaft.

more bhp options, can go for turbo.if stay NA, bigger cams, higher compression piston, good piggy back or if u can afford it, go for standalone. as usual, whts ur bhp goal? and ur estimated budget?

How about b20b block coupled with DC5 86mm piston? this engine would be for daily driving purposed (no track / drag purposes) how high is the compresion and if anyone has done this, how much power could be expected? my mate current setup, complete CTR head complete ITR intake manifold...

i m using 10w40 Q8 semi-syn oil for the past few years.works well and i don't feel the oil degrade after certain milage. started with 10w40 castrol magnatec - engine feel bit sluggish after 2k miles tried Eneos 10w40 for few times, stil not as good as Q8. Also tried motul 4100 turbolight...

ctr tb inlet is 60mm and itr one is 62mm.. u r correct rvm :nice:

Sw388 is a forged rim. I dont think this rim is easily crack unless its undergone 'heavy abuse' i would vote for bronze ce28n for ek9 (5 holes) as the 10 spokes looks awesome.4 holes knuckle which has 8 spokes doesnt look that cool for my car (EK4) i rather go for sw388 : D

I am using bored CTR TB inlet 66mm outlet 64mm..it think its the max bore for CTR TB. Noticable throttle response. Just wondering, does it require us to bore the intake manifold as well to match the bore that has been done at the outlet (butterfly) ?

May i know what injectors that you're running on for that setup? I am planning to use the exact setup (b18cR+PCT) for the bottom part, only the difference i'll be running with jun3 cams. Feel free to drop some suggestion guys. thanks

motul 300v is good. I m using Q8 oils 10w-40.. works well for me
