Absolutely. But in the society we live in (Nanny state) there is no such thing as an accident anymore. There is always blame and there is always a claim. Travelling at 35mph in a 30 zone when its school kick out time within 1/4 mile of a school is not safe as kids are happy to walk about...

I think a lot of people confuse full lap times with BTG lap times. Add a good 15 seconds at least onto a BTG laptime. Its also worth considering the condition of the track back in 1995-1998 against the conditions of today. Its a lot smoother in places which allows for much faster cornering...

Those times are Bridge to Gantry? Official times are from the old start/finish point and a complete lap. I was doing 8:30's in my DC2 with semi slicks and Tein. Standard'ish EK9 wasn't far off that pace.

I would say around the 9:00 mark is about right for an EK9. Not sure if it was ever tested there "officially" though.
