im rebuilding it because i got the car into my hands with no.3 conrod bearing in bits and spun on the conrod scoring it to bits , a very bad rattling noise .

well to all, im doing a build on my ek9 leaving the head alone for now but was wondering what ye would suggest in the lines of headgasket and pistons and rods, what would the best be for a good gain on power and maybe raise compression a bit, all suggestions would greatly appreciated cheers!!

small update as you can see i found engine rattle no.3 conrod bearing and conrod in bits, seats are out ready for transport to garage for valet as you can see they are bad! gearbox removed and washed and ready for a lick of paint , engine block is in the process of being cleaned and the engine...

just so you know theres one on donedeal.ie hit honda then price and go from there 120euro of atypr might or might not be what you are looking for.
