1990cc Spoon Engine ??

The spoon dash is cool, not so sure its a 2 litre though, spoon tend to go for higher rpm than larger cc.

Somebody needs to go there and make use of that spoon cluster !

Can you not use a b20 crank in a b18 block to make a 1.9 ? That's very good money if the power figures are correct.

1990cc would class as 2.0, either way some Spoon HT leads does not constitute a 'Spoon Engine'.

Preying on the stupid methinks.

must be a b18 w/ a stroker kit, details list "turbo" but there's no turbo

nice gauge though, would love to have that for my EG

It's on eBay as well, looks like a load of bull sh1t, quite clearly a standard car with spoon "trinkets"

The car is only 20 mins away from me was tempted to go and look at it for a laugh!

How can anyone doubt it without checking it first ?

Looks to be red engineers dye over the engine number which is a sign of a Honda replacement block.

Come on guys....

i posted it as a joke ... who quotes 130Hp below 5500 and 240hp above.. thats just retarded..

also don't you think if you had a spoon engine you would list what it is and not write a brief couple of paragraphs..

Is there anyway to report these kinda people?
Apart from being funny it could be quite dangerous

As stupid as the seller sounds, I honestly wouldn't doubt this car completely until someone has gone and looked at it. Could well have been just a customers car in Japan, not actually built by spoon for themselves. Although looks like a bit of a dog to be honest. And I've heard before that dc2's are 130bhp before vtec engages, albeit on a stock dc2 though lol.
