hi folks, ive decided to put my s2000 up for sale as having a baby stops me from using this car as much as i want and it simply just sits there getting washed and not used lol! i purchased this car about 4 months ago on a whim after a major fall out with the ex, shouldnt have bought it but oh well i did so anyway.........

1999 s2000 uk model

hpi clear

service history is very good up to the previous owner who is a friend of mine who works for a well known japanese car parts establishment, he carried out the services himself

early models have the more reasonable tax prices

no tax
12 months mot

modifications-
decat
braided brake lines
fidanza flywheel
front bumper is debadged and smoothed where the light washers are
front splitter
debadged front wings
removed air con
rear jdm subframe

recent parts fitted-

new rear brake pads

price is £4600

part ex welcome, will consider anything that has rear seats and vtec, would love a dc2 or ek9 but try me

Looks like a sweet car! Glws

^^ haha had a feeling you'd show up lol

after taking it for its mot, really enjoyed driving it, and the roof wasnt even down! may just keep it lightly advertised and if it goes it goes, dont mind keeping it

i dont like the look of dc5s! much prefer the dc2

Been thinking about going for one of these, but wont be till closer to summer time. Not long had the turbo on the '9 so wanna enjoy that first. Nice car mate!

cheers matey, they are great cars and i wouldnt mind hanging onto it tbh, but i cant fit the baby and the missis in there :nono:

but im gonna carry on doing a few things to it, next im gonna get some springs and rota slipstreams!

lol you can come hollering for me!

if i still have it then it will be on some nice rims and lowered :win:

Have you made any changes or done any work to the car since you bought it?

ive had the front bumper and splitter smoothed and resprayed, and 2 small scabs the size of 5pence treated and sorted

other than those changes, nothing else has been done

" insurance is £800 fully comp for me ", may i ask how old you are and how many years NCD you have? also what is the advantage of the jdm rear subframe?

im 29, 10 years no claims, live in a quiet village

the main advantage of the jdm subframe is they aint as rusty as the uk ones, apparently siezed subframes can cause some serious issues, the subframe on mine has been changed and the bolts have all been copper greased so there no issues on that part

provisionally sold, new owner to collect the car on saturday

will update after

Wow well done mate!
What you thinking of next? You going to dabble some ek9?

lol he has to come pick the thing up yet!

but if it sells im gonna take a back seat for a while, owning 3 cars is seriously not healthy, at this moment in time i own a toyota aygo which is a Godsend for everyday use, golf vr6 which is the family car which i did a thing or two to it that got out of hand, and the s2000 which i bought while i was angry and pissed off lol! but it would be nice to own just the two cars for a while. ive promised myself that if i was to get anything i will make sure i sell before i buy

if the sale of the s2000 goes ahead of gonna finish off the golf vr6, tbh i want to use that for a while cause it is a comfy car with decent performance, being the highline model it comes with full leather, and is pretty damn spacious with a boot that can take all the babies items! and for shows i can just wind it all the way down as its on coilovers and put the bbs replica wheels on

for the time being im just gonna stay around and see whats what regarding the ek9, tbh i am swaying more towards the clio 172 cup, its similar performance to the ek9 and probably 5k cheaper lol! have some fun in the clio and do the track days ive been meaning to do for the last 10 years! but i can never say never with the ek9 as its my favourite looking type r, lets see what happens!

but mainly im just gonna enjoy being a dad for the time being, should be spending out on my lil boy rather than throwing money at cars i dont use!

:drive::thanks:
