2000 Yellow EK9 Rx

Dear all,

Tmus' legendary yellow EK-9 is up for sale once more.

£6,095.00 inc. all extras - looking to close deal for £6k flat :)

Honda : Phoenix Yellow Honda Civic Type R EK9 Rx

Have loved every moment of owning / caring for it! But I'm relocating to the City soon, and it's no place for a bright yellow CTR, or any car for that matter :( so the time has come to say goodbye.

Fantastically hung over today so please excuse any typos.

Hopefully someone can give it a good home - suggest contacting me through the PH links if interested.

Cheers!

Dave

What do you mean doesn't seem worth it? I've got another car I use as my daily, plus I live within 2 minute walk of where I work!

I only use it at weekends or to go to meets, having a daily and a weekend car seems worth it to me if you've got the money ;)

Thanks for the comments.

I got the car in late June 09 so not 2 years yet. Averages out about 4k per year. I have commuted by train since 09 so its evening weekend/leisure use only.

And as for the closer to 7k miles I did in it so far - totally worth it :nice:

I had a daily too. Just seems like alot of money to spend on something to hardly use it.

The whole reason I sold my civic and my daily was I felt I wasnt getting the use out of it for the insane amount of money I had spent on it (10k plus) so wanted a nice car I could drive all the time, as ATM I do about 300 miles a week.

i reckon mathew u could hit the 100k mark within no time haha i thought i was bad doing 200 miles a week lol

Felt like plenty of use from my POV:). But this is irrelevant now as selling..

Also should mention that the setup could be returned largely to standard minus the wheels - which only have a few thousand miles on them and could be sold for a good profit. All the other boxes, receipts and spares for the parts are also still held.

The idea is that someone buys the lot for a fair price then does with it as they wish, either sell on the extras - or enjoys the perfect setup the car has now..:drive:
