was just wondering if many people use there ctr's daily or are most locked in a garage and only used for some weekend fun ?

I will be using mine ( once i find one ) on a daily basis and was wondering if fuel cost's so on and so on are going to be extortionate and weather i should be looking to get a shed to drive to work in instead

My ef9 siR is my weekend car, have a 300bhp gtiR pulsar as a daily but i'm a bit backwards :p

ek9's are perfectly fine as a daily mate at the end of the day its a 1.6 hatchback, if you drive it sensibly you wont have a problem with fuel costs :D

CTR's arent that hard to run on a daily basis, just aslong as you dont floor it everywhere lol

haha i am in same boat as gav here got my ek9 on the drive will be track car, got a 260ish bhp focus st as a daily :nice: we are both backwards gav its ok your not alone :drive:

fuel is not bad mate at all, they can be driven eco like but al down to will power, its a damn sight cheaper t run that a 2.5 turbo i can tell you that haha

im a bit backwards as well...... lol

Got a Pug 205 GTI with a 2.0 8v turbo engine conversion fitted, so its like a track car for daily use.

Iv had loads of different daily runners though, ranging from EK4's, ITR's and EP3's, to Mk2 Golfs and an Audi TT.

nice thats the answer's i was hoping for as most of the cars i have had tend to be on the juicy side :( i have also noticed most ctrs are white ? im actually a fan of white cars is there much price difference between colours ?

i use a toyota corolla verso diesel as my daily, petrol is too expensive now to drive a thirsty b-series for commuting etc.. (IMO of course)

I've got a Ek3 Vti as a daily & the Ek9 for weekends & fun. :D

Ek9 are not too bad on fuel. I average around 30mpg with a mixture of driving.

Ive always had mine as a weekend car. Got an FN2 atm which is getting around 28mpg as a daily

EG siR did get used at weekends and the occasional week da to work. Got a SAAB 1.9TD (150bhp) vector model which is a great car to drive, especially on motorways. Currently in the proccess in doing my bike test too.

for most it is a 1.6 civic, don't see how that can be so hard to run daily....!!

i run my K20 track car ek9 a couple times a week to work and in general use it whenever i have to as it is my only car

clutch is burst at the moment and i'm still staying at home whilst i gut out and redecorate my flat, so for now i'm running my dads FD2 daily.........

iv a toyota altezza rs200 as a daily, stripping out the ek9,removeing power steering and fitting a 4.7fd made it a bit too hardcore for daily use,...:drive:

I have a b18 Turbo Jordan for night's and weekends and i have a Mondeo for my work and to take places i do not want the Jordan. I also get 42mpg in the Mondeo :woot:

i used to have a 2 cars, would run my jordan as the daily and the evo for the weekend.

Pug bipper as my daily haha

Great not having to care about pot hole ect

Used to run my EK9 as a daily until I turned it into more of a track focused car. Now just use it as a weekend / track car and have a Mondeo ST TDCI as my daily.

I have a 999cc, 50bhp. Lupo :nice:

300miles + to a full 28litre tank lol.
