I don't at at all disagree with that. But every car has parts that will wear. You can't buy a car that is 20 years old and expect it to be as solid as a brand new car. I bet all the "mint" cars on here have their problems, whether something as small as the passenger window closing slowly or as big as rust on the inner panels. A mint car from the early 90's is in a completely different league from a mint car thats rolled out the factory, despite using the same descriptive word. To be honest if the guy who sold it was being shady about the questions asked by the guy who bought it then the fault lies with the guy who bought it. Anyone with any sense would have left it if the seller sounded a little dodgy.
O well, look forward to seeing it once you have cleaned it all up. Always had a sweet spot for eg's.
