I'm currently running a Spoon direct-air-pipe (elbow) with the stock intake box on a B16A2, but I've been thinking about the AEM V2. What do you guys think? Aside from the expensive price of the V2, it it worth the change?

ive had one on both my civic vti and my SiR, its a very good bit of kit and easily the best you'll get for the money. Have you considered a DC2/spoon intake set up, thats what im using currently and i cant fault it.

I have had the V2 on two of my Hondas and I wouldnt fit anything else to one

iv got the aem v2 on my b16a2
amazing sound, proply the best intake

Nice! It sounds like the V2 is getting much love. Hmmm...decisions decisions...

As far as the DC2 intake, I don't want to fabricate something to make the mounting locations line up and it's almost the same set-up I'm currently using with the Spoon pipe and K&N filter.

the good thing about the dc2 set up is that the intake is larger than the ek9 one, mine is mounted fine and i havent had to fabricate anything, v2's are very good, i wouldnt say they are the best ever though. Just a sugestion :)

Interesting. Do you have any pics of your DC2 intake especially how it is mounted?

i can certainly get some for you, one of the threaded holes in the ek lines up directly with one of the holes in the dc2 box, to keep it steady i just used u cable/zip tie. It works fine :)

Cool. I've seen other members with this intake, so some pics of how you mounted it would be great.

I'm glad to see quite a few of you like the V2. One of the reasons I'm considering it is because of the CARB approval which is a MUST in California.
