air filter box

im going to be making a box/surround for my filter to keep the warm air out as i was told it will make a gd difference. anyone have pics of theirs?! :pics:

What did u use and mount it to im intrested in doin this for mine. Do u notice any differances
 
its monted onto the wing. its easy out to make and looks the job. i didnt notice a differnece but its much better than nothing i guess. a rolling road would show results i spose!!

To make it work right you will have to ensure it seals with the bonnet as best as possible when the bonnet is closed and there is a decent supply of air to the underside of the filter
 
ya thats more or less it! but a nice cold supply or air will do the same job as the intake is doing the work. it keeps the warm air away from mine anyway.
