So i have a leak coming from somewhere and i'm pretty stumped :angry2:

I have removed all of the interior plastic at the side and there is nothing that is blatantly obvious. I have also removed the rear lights and cleaned up the neopreme seal (which was fairly wet at the top), the lights where also about an 8th full of water.

I have ran a hose over the back of the car and the wheel well doesn't fill up with water, it seems to only be whenever i drive.

Also the front carpet is completely soaked as were the rear seats which i have removed. I reckon a new carpet is order as i don't want that one smelling once its dried out, although surely the water at the back cant be the reason that the carpet is soaked through (only on the passenger side).

Anyways if anyway has had any similar problems please help a brother out :p:D

Should also mention that its an ej9.

If its leaking from the rear its a good chance it could be the light foam gaskets.

Its where they get compacted together over time.

I'm guessing your rear lights need new seals mate. Not sure about the front though!

+1 on the rear light seals. Seems to be a pretty common problem

As for the front. Have you checked to make sure all the drainage points etc are free and clear?

at the rear the gasket at the lights and also the vents below them can leak, at the front a common problem is the seam sealant cracking on the firewall allowing water to work its way through. I would check out those obvious ones first.

Thank you all for the replies, had read that it was the light gaskets but just wasn't sure that they could let in this much water!

This brings me on to my next question, where can you purchase the seals? Don't fancy going at it with a silicone gun and sticking them to the car.

Will definitely need to get a haynes to find out where all these drain point are located!

Mate I had this and it was a combination of the light gaskets and the vents, and use silicon for the time being.

There about 15 quid each from honda or you can make your own from foam. Also id use sealant around the vents that sit behind the rear bumper as they leak as well.
