B16 ITB's

Go on ITR DC2 and search for Nez (Local(ish) to you too). He is rocking a set on his b18c. took some work to get them in right but worth it for the money you save imho. I will get these in time.

They are good if you can find someone to tune them and have enough work done to the engine to justify them

Nez bought them and fitted to a standard B18C6, made ok numbers, be interesting how they fair on his new setup of high comp with Toda C's

well the plan is to go for, hondata s300, bigger cams in the summer, prob skunk2 ones, already got manifold, de-cat and exhaust, so am hoping they should be ok with that setup. Plus its the noise off them aswell :naughty:

These aren't a bolt on fitment either nez had to do a fair bit of work/ buy more parts to get them working nicely

Need a vacuum cannister for your brakes/ map sensor. Some sort of filter for them as well.
I heard the casting is poor quality though. Can't complain at the price of them. First thing I'd do is strip them, clean them up and rebuild with thread lock.

I thought you had to use a stand alone ECU as the oem is based on a MAP system.
Dunx

Am sure u can use the hondata s300 with them, and get it mapped. but change of plan not goin for these anymore, been looking at the jenvey throttle bodies, they look way better quality and no much more expensive.

Jenveys, not much more expensive than OBX? Off the back of a lorry?

OBX from the states $600 then u would need to pay import tax on them aswell, which would prob come close to bout £600, have a look on jenvey website, can get a set for £865, would rather pay that extra for better quality.

Look 2 below that one u mentioned and they are £721 excl vat, so with vat on that it's £865 am sure lol

Curse my shortsightedness. :D

Yes, you are correct. :nice:

Is that with the inlet aswell? Got a set of jenveys waiting to go on mine bought mine second hand though

Jenveys are the best and I have some for sale lol

S300 isnt ideal for ITBs. With ITBs you need to map using TPS not MAP but S300 still needs map to stop injector overrun so you need to run a map sensor (somehow plumbed in to a vaccum accumulator) which is a PITA.

But it is possible.
