Happy new year guys, little update here!! Treated myself/the ek9 to a few goodies recently. Including one of my favourite parts that I've wanted for so long!! Following the Spoon Sports theme...
Genuine Spoon Sports wing mirrors!!! So happy with how they look. Here is a picture of how I fitted the supplied foam gasket.
Would ya just look at em!
Managed to get them for such a good deal in box as new but let's just say I didnt pay retail!!
Along with this I also picked up a genuine Spoon Sports carbon fibre spoiler from @danbo2002 , thanks again brother! Here are a few pics of both the wing and mirrors fitted.
Don't worry I most certainly didn't drive it in this horrible winter weather lol just pulled outside to let it warm up and take some photos. Looks unreal in my opinion, so happy with it. Really just on the hunt now for an OEM rear bumper to complete the exterior!

What cover is that? I'm buying my first house in the next month and like the idea of it not getting dusty whilst the house is getting ripped apart!

Been a while!! Thought I'd do a wee update as I've finally put the car back on the road after a bloody long winter. A few bits done. Did an oil and filter change and also replaced the front upper control arms with some Hardrace OEM series items.
I also balanced the front wheels as they were a bit wobbly at high speeds lol, much better now.
Met up with a few pals and got some great photos of my EK9 and his DC5.
So good to get out in the cars!! Photo heavy update but not a lot of actual progress, HOWEVER. After a super long wait I've managed to pick up an OEM rear bumper with lip that I've had painted and now fitted to the car and god am I happy, looks miles better!!
The finish is great and I'm super happy with it. Fitted up its not a perfect match but I believe with a good polish on the car it should be mint as its a while since I've actually detailed the car properly!
Bare in mind this is perfect fresh paint against the car having just driven it in the rain *cries* joys of living in Scotland where sun can turn to rain at any time. But having quickly wiped over the car with quick detailed the match is much better so I'm confident after a proper polish it'll be mint! But nonetheless I am stoked with how its looking now.

I really like the rear bumper, c west? But I think you need something like a Gymkhana front bumper to compliment it. So you've done the right thing there imo.
Your pal's DC5 on the Type C looks great too!
Wanna buy it?? Hahaha. Yeah I agree like with a much more aggressive overall setup it would be good but with the look I'm going for at the moment it just looked so out of place.
Yeah man it's a sick whip, good clean example too. Has some really nice parts.

Shiny EK9 during a B-road blast!!
Can't get enough of it now it's got the OEM rear bumper. I have so many plans to further improve the car but funds are incredibly limited just now sadly so may aswell just try and enjoy it!
