Another vote here, Easily one of the best 9's.
Also did you ever get a video of your 8.20 BTG time? As that's serious quick, only 23 odd seconds behind the fastest FWD BTG time.

Sadly the only vid of the lap is on youtube of me nudging a local in his caged m3 through Brunchen! My mate timed a lap with him in the car too at 8.30, end of the day with no traffic

I could have easy broke 8 mins with the k20 in there, alas will never know!

Haha that's a shame! Impressive time again with a passenger, guess the 9 loses most of its time on the straights compared to the Megane's and Focus's??

Ye its a shame where never know, Would have been nice to wipe the smile off Renault face :))

all the best builds get broke for parts


if a car starts out at under 10/15k to buy it's usually ends up breaking if it's had 10/15k on top spent on it.

R34 GTRs on the other hand just sell for more when they are running big power

I know that but Steven should have kept this car not sold it or broke it.

When it was k20'd it utterly destroyed my mates R26.R on a run out the road.... His is the full spec one with cage, ti exhaust and poly windows etc

i know what you mean, on the other hand i've been able to enjoy alot of different things in life that i couldn't before spending all my time working on this car!

looking forward to the new build next year, will eventually put the ek9 to shame :)

With the way Steven threw his 9 around the ring I don't think a RWD M3 will suit his style much! :p

Nail on the head there Ian, the ek9 was almost too easy to drive on the boil!!!

M3 will be a learning curve, but i've got the c63 amg to practice with for now when i go visit my folks :D
 
I think everyone on this forum and plenty of other honda ones would vote for your car. It was a BEAST! lol. I assume we have to wait until the mag is released and the email in out votes. (think thats how it was done for last years Banzai COTY competition)

Inspirational! This will definitely have my vote! I'll keep my eye on this thread and hopefully we all get to vote soon :)
