Bit of an update on the engine build.
Was having a think and decided instead of having a mish mash of different tuning company parts in the head internals, that i would just go all out for the same company as i suppose its nicer to have plus they design their own parts to work together

So seeing as i already have the buddyclub cams and cam gears, i decided to get the springs and retainers and valves aswell. Got them ordered last week and they arrived today. So now i have the buddyclub spec IV cams, Buddyclub camgears, Buddyclub Springs and retainers and Buddyclub Flat face Valves

Cant wait to get them all fitted now. Just need to get the head seal kit and Supertech valve guides and thats the head done parts wise.
Ive also just ordered a manifold but it wont be here for 6 weeks

Was nice day today so got some small things done for the car.
Went down to kwik fit and got the crappy tyres taken off my mugen rnrs as they are booked in to be refurbed next week

Also didnt like the rear drums being red so decided to give them a lick of black paint. I think it looks slightly better, its just for the mean time till i buy the rear disc conversion...

Also because mu backbox was soo huge it was rattling against the bumper lol so decided to try and fit my skunk2 backbox from my del sol on and it bolted straight up to my suprise So now it looks alot better and theres no rattles

Took some photos of the car as i havent really posted any clear photos of it yet, plus it was good weather for it...

Got my ek9 bumper sprayed and my carbon lip fitted. I also fitted my ek9 rep headlights (housing sprayed gunmetal) Heres some photos.

Thought id post a few new things that have come for the engine build and some other bits and bobs. Nearly have everything for the build. Just bought some RC Injectors aswell which im waiting to arrive.

Coming along well mate.Spray the mugen rnr's evo 9 grey .What make is the spuro ctr bumper ?panel gaps line up very well on it,Are you building the bottom end?pistons ect.

Cheers mate I got the bumper from my mechanic, who stocks them. Its just an ek9 replica, was very cheap like £100 for brand new front and rear bumper lol. And yea i was very happy with the fitment, being cheap i thought it might look bad but turned out well Yea mate, nothing serious to the bottom end, just spoon ek9 pistons which i already had in the engine and only done a couple of thousand miles, and then Brian Crower Rods with ACL bearings and then all new gaskets seals, pumps etc.

That is a very reasonable price for both ,ah I was wondering what pistons you where running ,I thought you where going to try and run the spec 4s and t/bs on standard compression,It will be very fast when put together and a decent map, it has all the right bits ,Fair play on the effort man .keep up the good work.
