Best four branch for b16


What engine are we talking about a little more info goes a long way
 
depends on your budget as well, what you would be willing to spend
 
Waiting for someone to say toda, over rated.
Custom is better for less money...

Also custom doesn't always mean better when we're talking manifolds.
Easy to knock up a custom catback and see gains cheap but mani is where the magic happens n/a
 
Would say Toda is a bit over kill for a standard b16a2.

Supersprint 4-2-1 used to make a decent one. Had one on my B16A was one of the best manifolds I have used. Traded up to a Toda V1 didn't notice a massive difference. Was more on the B18C the toda shined.

Other than the usual jap manifolds like mugen, feels etc.. a 98 spec would be a good buy.
 
98 spec manifold is what id go for again.

Only downside is they do hang down quite low being a 4-1 manifold.

I will be putting my 98spec mani on soon once its heatwrapped and I think I am going to make a skid plate up for it as I have heard they do hang a bit low.

A second hand toda is still getting on toward £700.
 
Dont forget the 98spec 4-1 will be hanging even lower on a B16A2, having a shorter block.

£700 !!! :eek: Is that how much they are worth these days. Better go pull mine off the car and hang it in my room before it rots away in the car park. :nerv:

Payed £550 for my used V1 back in 2009.

I would say the 5zigen 4-2-1 is up there with the best. Made a noticeable difference on my b16b :nice:

That's what I have on my b16a2 and what a difference it made.
