Yo

I was wondering what the best place to go for insurance on a 9 is. heard msny different things but if anyone would know im sure it's you guys.

Cheers:nice:

i insure mine with elephant.

insured it at the age of 21, no vol excess.
1 crash
12months policy, fully comp

£932 all in, thought that was alright tbh.

Sky or bell insurance are the best. Im paying £750 and Im 22 with 3 years NCB

I use admiral for my EK4, i pay £800 fully comp, (on 10 month policy), with 2 claims and i'm 22...have a £500 voluntary excess though...

but adrian flux is surposed to be good for modified/specialist cars, might be worth getting a quote off them...

admiral/bell/elephant are all the same company for those that dont know.

i'm with chirs knott, 28, 6 years no claims and 3 points. only 650 with a teg engine and exhaust declared

Also, one that doesn't come up often, Greenlight insurance. They offer trackday insurance to policy holders as well.

Sky wont touch me beacuse I have 5 points :( im going to give the others a ring and see what they say.

Steve, do you drive an EK9? if so can you do my insurance quotes for me?!?!?

I'm 20 and just got my renewal through for £1800 from bell!

Thats on a 10 month policy, £500 vol excess, 2 old named drivers, 3 years NCB, no crashes, good postcode...

what the hell am i doing wrong?

Most places wont touch me with an AC20 :(:( got 1600 per year on a Jordan though....looks like I will have to start with that.

when i got my re-quote in for my 1st 9 just over a year ago it was £440, i then insured the dc5 for £800, sold it and now its £800 to insure my 9 i obviously questioned how they could justify the 9 being the same price now as the dc5 and they said in the last year there has been a lot of accidents involving 9's, few right offs etc, hence the price has doubled in just over a year.. for me anyway. If people took more care and didnt drive like arseholes and crash them it would be cheaper for everyone.

good luck on your search bud:nice:
