Best way to remove limiter?

Does anyone know the best way to remove the stock speed limiter think it's 112?

Not actually hard the car up that quick yet but it's a fresh import so think it will still be limited.
 
I know in the Skyline you had to have a chip wired in but that was because it was an electronic speedo that controlled the speed limit signal to the ECU. My EK9 has had it's speedo converted and the limit removed now the speed has been changed with a convertor on the signal coming from the gearbox, now I dunno if anything else has been done, as there weren't any chips on the cluster itself so I dunno if the fact the speedo is getting different readings transmits to the ECU, so the car would be having to do 180 MPH for the Car to think its doing 180 km/h (112 MPH) and activate the limiter.

Did you get it from an importer, if so they should be able to tell you ;)
 
If the car has been converted to MPH, does that mean the mileage will be going up in miles too or is that separate?
