Has anyone done this conversion from distributor to coil? i heard that you can use coil packs off a K20 Type R. This setup will be used with a AEM Series 2 ems.
 
Can be used with either AEM ver1 or ver2, you just use there EPM and Pencil Coils :nice: got a car in my friends shop that is getting this done right now, only problem is AEM ignition box keeps frying :angry2:...
 
i beleive will (ek9turbo) is away to be doing this . maybe worth giving him a shout
 
The EPM will be used, it's easier to use dc5 type r coils the tuner told us.
 
Has anyone on here done this conversion or knows of anyone who has?
Any information would be a great help. Basically I've been told that you can use the coils off a K20R or a CBR 600RR but I haven't seen any personally.
