I heard that there was a way to make a jdm cluster read in mph by adding a resistor of some sort? wuld like to knowif this is possible and if someone knows how! thanks for any input

yeah you can buy a converter/delimiter which will change your cluster to read in mph and remove the speed limiter if it has one .

if you need any info give me a pm

i need one myself!
i bought one off kilburne before, wired it up and it didnt work! only rev counter worked for some reason...

it's just a little box which is converting the speedsignal from gearbox to ecu etc... and your speedlimiter will not be deactivatet... just set up to 180mph :blabla:

also you can remove it very easy if you sell it to the continent, just work of 5minutest =)

when i wired mine up without soldering it in, it didnt work, im positive i wired it up correct! done it over several times! :(

im pretty sure i didnt!
kilburne said to call them but at £1.50 per mintue lol i pass
know of any other chips?

Sorry for bringing up this old thread...but found it on google...

Anyway so if i want to convert my cluster back from MPH > KPH i would only have to remove this converter thing behind my cluster?

Before i jump on this, i thought let me ask it first so i can go straight to the sollution.

Bought me an ITR with the cluster converted to MPH but since we use KPH wanted to convert it back...

How does this converter look like?

Thanks in advance.
