im just interested in purchasing 1 or have my machinist make one..i heard it help balance engine at high rpm it help eliminate vibration to.. this is prolly 1 reason there able to rev so high.

does anyone know if spoon still makes it?
has anyone used one?
and whats your 2 cents on this?
basically pros and cons

its abssically a copy of the way the F20C is braced at the bottom

ive never ever seen one for sale anywhere so dont know what money they are

although MFactory do them aswell i think

but unless it's being desinged for the track on a normal car its pointless

do yall think with this on it will be harder to spin a rod bearing? do to the fact that there is less engine vibration? and everything is pretty much keeped in line?

Spoon did one. dunno if it was produced for the consumer market though. here a link of a video that most of us have probably seen may times of a car that uses a block brace.

YouTube - Spoon EK9

look at it the video at 0:41 looks like they just fabricated the mains to fit on a 1/4" piece of steel

can easily be replicated if its not made no more:(

People use them for decent spec B20 builds that i`ve seen in this country so must be available from somewhere

lol i know but weren im prolly gonna just make one and then have my machinist check it out

iirc ERL, Endyn, and Z10 make them, spoon one is discontinued. A very pointless mod unless as said, SERIOUS race car!!

could you rev to10k rpm with just this or do you have to have a fully built and balanced engine?that engine sounds amazing!surely though they must have advantages?
