UPDATE:

Managed to get lucky with a spot opening up for mapping

its going to Will (ek9turbo) on the 24th April to let him work his magic on it!

Spoke to him a few times and its nice to find a dedicated tuner who doesnt talk crap to you. Looking forward to the results!! :drive:

Lovley looking EK9, the B18c looks super clean!

But christ you went to town with that white paint under the car, what paint is it? And did you spray it on over the plastics and then repaint over the plastics in black? :wow:

hell yeah i do stuff properly, first time and right!

was painted in diamond white (a ford colour) but its under the car so i wanted it to shine!! through a gun an compressor set up. then all the rst was cleaned and painted where need be. the results and time speak for themselves i feel.

and cheers for the comment!! :thumbs up:

can anyone tell me how i change the name of my thread to update whats going on with it??

going to york dragway on sunday weather permitting so ill see what times it can manage :)

really liking the car :) where are you based as i remember this was for sale around the time i was looking to buy mine? it looks like it went to a good home :nice:

Hi there mate, looks like you have taken real good care of my old car. Glad it's gone to a good home. I've bought a house now nearly got it sorted. I still prefer the original wheels though, keep up with the good work.

aRc- im based near leeds in north yorkshire, had to travel for the car but it was worth it :)

ek9cub- Hi jacob! hope your well bud? glad to hear my money got the house plans underway. cheers for the comments and yeah ive defo taken care of it, it was too nice to let it become tatty! im bored of the black wheels now so ive got some anthracite ce28n reps to go on with red extended nuts :) pics will be up soon.

and cheers for all the comments fellas

forgot to say i went racing yest, full interior and 3/4 tank of fuel, damp track and bad launches, pulled 14.5 all day long!

was crossing the line at 97mph average and 60fts were 2.2 to 2.4.

alot of wheel spin! i couldnt get the balance of throttle right to get gone quickly, launch control at 4800rpm.

i tried to drop my tyre pressures but forgot my valve caps are stuck on so i was running 38psi all day on my 16" wheels :angry2:

next visit ill be running r888's on my standard 15's up front

I'm good, looking to buy another Honda soon. Looking at a S2000 or DC5 if I can afford one, will be nice for the summer. Need some V-tec power!!!
