My Aussie genes took over - I did the whole shebang myself!

Lit the bastard, cooked Haloumi Cheese, Prawns, Marinated Chicken Breasts and the good old staple of the BBQ, Burgers by the dozen..

Missed out on a good one man, was a wicked laugh. If we can get a BBQ down to JAE this year I'm sure the beer'd up aussie in me wont be able to resist again!

Nice! Liking the carbon/black mirrors and base plate. Gives a nice line down the windows if that makes sense...

with the b18 convertion why did you choose to run the ek9 gearbox over the dc2 one ? does this work well ?

and with the convertion can you just use all the standard b16b ek9 mounts with the b18 ?

and lastly do you need a convertion harness for the ecu and where do you get these from if so?

Hi,

I didnt have a choice as when i part EXed my engine he wanted to keep the ITR box, however im glad as the EK9 box works very well. Before the conversion i thought shorter gears was what it needed, but the B18 makes great use of the gears.

You can use all the Existing mounts yes.

If your EK is pre face then there is no need for a conversion harness with the 98 spec ITR engine. Plug and play into the ECU. Otherwise it is required, Im not entirely sure where to get them from. I think they are around £100.

Well despite what others have said ive personally found them very good. Reasonable bite from cold(more then you need) and when warmed up they sure stop. Never fade even on track.

Ive got no complaints.
 
looking good dan ! followed the starbo progess on tgtt as i used to have a tdo4 glanza, just dropped a b18 into my ek9 and what a difference, the way it should be !

loving it mate :) no not running a jdm b18, ive got saint matts old block with my ek9 head, my sc4 gearbox (as it had mugen 1.5 way diff) and running a borrowed spoon ecu at the minute. On the look out for a 98 spec jdm ecu to get chipped and mapped so i can return the spoon :p
