DC2 integra 98 spec box into EK9


looks like the civic motor would be better suited to the integra gears anyhow baring in mind its lower torque,,

civic gears on the left, integra on the right, civic gears in red, integra in blue,, cheers mfactory for gear calculator

i was about to ask the same Q too, from my observation, a friend of mine with s4c gearbox with 4.4 FD changed to 4.785 FD. The diff. that i noticed when cruising in 5th gear at +-100km/h, the rev is +- at 3k (4.4FD) and rev is at +- 3.5k when changed to 4.785FD.

someone told me, this rev different wont be occured if we swap the entire s80 gearbox to ek9, meaning at 5th gear, crusing at +-100km/h the rev would be around +-3k. how true is this?

just to ask a question...is this correct? at 100kph if im around 3.5k revs that indicates a 4.7fd??
 
interesting, gearsets do make a massive difference for sure. H20RBOs Mfactory set is great, jut nuts.

Ok heres one for you guys... does anyone have any info on a mugen 5.1 gear/FD set?

I have a client with this in a b16a powered space-frame racer. no info on the box but flat-out it hits about 118mph.

Anyone have any details on this?
 
The only company I'm aware of that made a 5.1 FD was ATS, although I could be wrong.
 
I think there was a limited run for the 5.1 from ATS and possibly Cusco.... I will ask a friend regarding it since he had one installed years ago.
