DC5 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds NEW VID ADDED 1/4 mile in 12.8

is this your car dude ?

Amazingly fast, very nice DC5 you have sir

:D

:welcome: to the forum

well having 4.5 second 0 - 60 time is a good reason to own a DC5 haha.

Could always swap the S/C K20 into an Ek9 ... ££££££ but still it'd be a rocketship.

throw some pics up of your DC5 dude, everyone here has got love for all honda's especially Fast ones ;)

ive gone for the sleeper look, it looks complete standard.. just gonna lighten it up now 50kg , aircon remove, racing battery , and other bits

Ah man thats awesome !!!

I'm a big fan of standard looking and loads of power :D

Much better than the D series Ek's that have no power yet look race spec haha.

what power is it running ? i found stripping weight out of my EK9 was one of the best things i did. I ended up having no carpet, no rear seat, no nothing apart from dash and my drivers seat :D

i used it everyday so dont wanna go silly with weight loss.. i dynoed at 280whp but its running over 300whp now.. mapping makes a big difference on the k20 as you can adjust cam angle to help build up boost.. plus helps my traction as power tuned to come in very late..

What's your quarter mile?

Quick car but speedo vids say sod all, Prob add a second on that 0-60 with timing gear.

Nice video! As Lee said to be honest, and chances are speedo are out anywhere up to and between 5-10mph

my quarter mile at santa pod was 12.9 @110 with a weight of 1265kg 0 to 60 works out around 4.5 / 5 sec :drive:
