Finally managed to get the car tuned... got loads of other updates to make but just been way to busy running the car and and getting stuff ready for the ring this week. Hopefully get a few pics up tomorrow. :D

Dyno'd/Tuned today by Daz @ DNR on the S300. He smoothed the map right out and it completely flies now. A big improvement throughout the rev range.

Made 197bhp on a low reading conservative dyno with basic breathing mods which I'm pretty happy with (the numbers mean nothing compared to how amazingly it pulls now).

Finally feel happy about the car again now after having one B18C start to burn oil and then getting ripped off with that B18C4. Rebuilding it yourself (with a lot of help from a good mate and some good advice from this place) is definitely the way to go.

Got some prep done for the ring today (mostly boring stuff like checks)... did manage to get a few extra bits fitted to tart the engine bay up - bonnet lifters, some new rocker cover bots, a real carbon plug cover and a skunk2 battery tie down.

how did that gasket work out for you? i bought the sameone an mine started to leak coolant an idle went crazy so i went back to the stock paper gasket :mad:

Seems to be fine so far, duno if it has lowered inlet temps or not to be honest.

Was yours an IL4 gasket or Hondata?
 
looks sweet timmy, i put the same kinda gasket in mine which was hondata copy and have had no probs so far
