>> DV8's EK9 <<

Thought i'd best update this... LOL.

Went to the ring last year and had some issues as a few of you know. Anyway ended up with another B18...

------------

Off to the ring again this year for my stag do so wanted to do some safety/cooling mods to protect the new engine.

My existing single width/core rad was looking a bit sorry for itself so it was time for an upgrade.

Prepping the car (bit rusty :():

Couple of mates popped over and we drilled out the AC mounts and moved and welded the rad mounts to accept the wider rad:

Couple of coats of black to protect the welded metal and also sort out some of the surface rust:

Wow, absolutely mint! Where did you get the new radiator? It looks lush, the whole car is sick!

Honestly never really liked prefacelift 9's until I read your thread last night, its such a nice car I love it.

Was it any of these rads DV8?

Did the rad require any modifications to fit it?

Yes mate, its the R2028.

Not mods required to the rad, you'll need a cap though as for some reason these are seperate with Koyo's.

The big job is removing the mounts and re-weld but if get a spot weld drill bit and have some welding experience (or a mate who has :nice:) then it shouldn't be too much of a job.

After all the worries with oil pressure I've got some guages to fit next weekend... at the core is the SPA oil pressure and temp gauge with alarm. :)

Should keep me safe...
