Hey folks hope this is in the correct section and you can all help / advise me.

Ive just put a deposit on an ek9 and hopefully get it at the start of next week.

With the problem of car theft etc, Ive been advised to not only get a good alarm ( which I will be doing asap ) but to take out ecu fuse at nights ?

So to get to my query - Will this cause any adverse effects with anything on the car if I am doing this every night? .. also exuse my ignorance if this sounds like a dumb question !!

Cheers
Gary

Hmmm...i Wouldnt bother with that personally, just get a good Cat 1 alarm.

If someone wants your car that badly removing a fuse wont stop them

You can do it but it might just be easier to install a kill switch :nice:

Ignition cut. Fuel pump cut and starter cut. That will slow them down. But as said above if they want it bad enough they will get it. Had a friend who has his ek9 stolen. They pushed it down the road with another car. The neighbors saw it and didn't think it was weird as it was another civic pushing it. They said they thought it was just the owner and his friends.
