Right, said I'd throw up my Civic. Picked it up about a month or a bit more ago pretty much standard with just a few small bits.

Kit to start with:
-Front and rear CTR rep lips
-Short shifter
-Light back 3 window tint
-Exhaust tip
-Front fogs

50mm front 40mm rear V-Maxx springs due to arrive this week so they'll be going in asap. Badly needs the drop

Plans for the break are serious clean all over including engine bay, waxoyl underbody, paint fogs yellow and if the weather allows it (unlikely) get a bit of colour coding done and maybe debadge the boot. Might try get hold of some jap plates during the week and maybe a CTR grille if funds allow it. Other than that it's small things that are needed like some floor mats and new shift gaiter as the one that's in there is fair manky and worn

Down the line then hopefully going to look into a proper exhaust system and maybe a 1600 intake mani. We'll have to wait and see:drive:

Comment & criticism welcome

looking good man, will be 100x better when its lowered a bit. :nice:

yeh a nice 55mm drop on it is more than enough to take away the dune buggie effect :p nice car :)

Right there's been a few updates since the last time I posted up here. Got the car dropped on 50mm front 40mm rear V-Maxx springs first. Much better now. The difference it made is crazy, even on the standard shocks. Then I got a CTR rep grille for xmas and picked up some jap plates as well. Then I decided to get some fresh pictures  Got a good evening so washed the car and headed down to my "spot" for a few snaps. Anyways, here they are. Might try some edits on these at some stage soon

Hopefully next on the list will be a new exhaust to replace the current rusted one. Been looking to the states at Spoon N1 rep exhausts so we'll see how that goes down when the funds settle...Only thing that's putting me off is I heard they are VERY loud! Last thing I'll be wanting is hastle from the shades...Anyone know anything about the A-Spec replica? Are they as loud as is made out?

Looks tidy man fair play.

If I were you Id get a sports manifold and a ek9 standard exhaust with a 2'' joiner .. quiet tone / breathes far better and looks smart :)

Cool I'll have a look into it so! Sorry if it's a stupid question but would I get away without the manifold? Was only really looking to go axle back really as there's no real point spending big money on a D14 setup. Cat will be staying, at least for now, too. In other words, if I picked up a CTR axle back would it bolt straight on or would it need to be modified?

Cheers lads:woot:

@jordan101: Was thinking of going for an EK9 wing but am thinking more down the line of a carbon Spoon replica now. Kinda have an idea in my head of going with small carbon touches like the carbon Spoon spoiler and mirrors and non-colour coded trim, or at least some of them, just to be that little bit different to the norm. Sure we'll see:D

On a completely separate topic, anyone know how to make the forum send me email notifications of replies? Every other forum I'm on does it but I can't seem to get it to work for me here...

Yeah you will get away without a manifold , the ek9 catback has a 2.5'' cat join so you will need to weld a 2'' join on instead. Just an idea IMO it would be a nice touch.:)

Been talking to a few people since and I've not heard the best about it. Kinda put me off tbh. While it looks well I've been told it doesn't sounds great at all. Leaning towards the OBX replica of the Mugen Twin Loop now after a bit of research yesterday. It's gotten very good reviews over on Honda-Tech for it's quality of build and sound and is very well priced, $75 + delivery which I'd estimate to be around another $70 or so. Still would work out around €110 to the door and maybe customs. Waiting on replies on that now from the US sellers

Shiny, shiny! Obx twin loop with 3" exit. Have to get it into the uncle now either the end of this week or early next week and get it on. It's a 2.5" inlet so will need a bit of fab work but happy out all the same. And it looks like I escaped customs! Will have some new pics and maybe a sound clip when it's all hooked up

Few photoshops I've done as well in the last while when I got bored

Cheers! It'll get there in time. Needs a few bits sprayed now, front and rear bumpers, there's a dent to be pulled in the boot and a few other bits niggling me. They'll be next on the list so for now the saving begins :(

Well here it is! Thanks to the uncle I got it welded on today and have to say I'm delighted with it. Nice and quiet when tipping around and a nice deep sound when you drop it that little bit. Love the look of it, subtle, exactly as I wanted. The car feels way more responsive now too and that little bit sharper which I didn't expect at all. Anyways, enough waffle. Some pics and before and after sound clips.
