EK9 dash into my ickle EG... project thing

I am loving this.Great work!So to get the EK Dash to fit you cut the EK frame where the steering column bolts to and created some brackets on each side of the dash.Is it possible to show what areas you cut or created brackets by marking of arrows/circles of the the pics you took?I gather you would have to use the 99/00 heater core and blower as well as heater/ac harness from the blower in order to use the 99/00 facelift climate control.

This "HOW TO" was very helpful for me. I do this project on my EG last weekend. Some idea for this:

- I used the both frames (EG and EK) on the driver side to bolt up the dash. 1 drilled 1-1 hole on each frame and screwed on the other in the original hole.

- I didn"t cut the chasses with flex. I cut off this part from the dashboard. It is easier then flex metal in the car.

- I had to make 2 console on the passenger side, but the EG frame is very malleable (with flex and hammer :) ).

- Before I changed the heater parts, I made the EK-EG heater wireharness conversion (only 7 pair of wire (color to color) but only 1 is in different color: BLU->YEL).

- Because of the EK dash is 4 cm longer than the EG, I had to flex the Instumental Driver Lower Cower (under the steeringwheel). It didn't fit very well so I cut it.

And one more thing what is very interesting: I didn't use strange screws!!! ALL screws what I used is from EK or EG original parts!!!! :)

Here is the result:
